Matava Resort
Our resort is a small and intimate getaway, designed to blend with its natural environment and cause minimal impact on the environment. Although adventure driven, the resort is ecologically conscious promoting conservation awareness with our local community and visitors. Traditional thatched Fijian ‘bures’ nestled in the rainforest accommodate up to 22 guests at one time and offer privacy, comfort and superb ocean views. With the ocean gently lulling you to sleep you’ll never sleep as well again!

The meals are an imaginative feast of local and international cuisine. Seasonal delicacies are always on the menu as well as the day’s fresh produce - locally grown tropical fruit and vegetables, baked breads and muffins and freshly caught seafood such as tuna, trevally, lobster and walu (Spanish mackerel). There will be plenty to fill your appetite and vegetarian diets and special requirements can always be catered for.
